There is not much information about this show. It was broadcast as a segment on the avex TV program channel a, and video of most of the songs is in circulation among Ayu fans and has been for some time, but its location is merely guessed to be the velfarre club, and its film date is unknown.

Avex used the inclusion of new songs as a reason for people to tune in.

The title of it has been called "J-Pop Night," but this does not appear to be accurate, and may be as a result of confusion with the avex 1999 Natsu Matsuri show with that name.

The date that accompanies the show on fansites & video filenames is August 17, but the date given by fansite Ayumania was August 13. Likely these are the 'channel a' TV air dates in those fans' local areas. The performance date is unknown.

大橋「８月１１日にマキシシングル”Ａ”が出ましたけれども」

あゆ「はい」

大橋「今回のコンセプトは、何でしょう？」

あゆ「コンセプト？」

大橋「”Ａ”っていうタイトル自体はどっから来たんですか？”ＡＹＵ”の”Ａ”？」

あゆ「いや、何でもよかったんですけど（大橋笑）。いや、そういうんじゃなくて、あの、４曲入って、その４曲をまとめて”Ａ”っていうタイトルなんですけど、もちろん４曲それぞれタイトルあるんで、そのまとめたものはいらないかなとと思ったんですよ」

大橋「なるほどなるほど」

あゆ「はい。で、普通一曲目に入ってるやつを、そのシングルのタイトルにしたりするじゃないですか。でも何かその、一押し曲が４つっていう状態にしたかったから、じゃ他で付けなきゃねとかって。で、タイトル無しにしてたんですよ」

冨樫「無し？」

あゆ「はい。それはあゆじゃなくて、うちのプロデューサーが言ったんですけど。『じゃあ無しで』って言い出して。そしたらみんな困って」

冨樫「困るよね」

あゆ「じゃあランクインした時に、どうやって読むんだろう、とか言って困った」

冨樫「無しじゃね」

あゆ「そうそう。で、じゃあ”Ａ”だ、みたいな」

冨樫「ああ、エーか（大橋笑）」

あゆ「そう」

冨樫「なるほど」

Ohashi: "On August 11th, your maxi single 'A' was released, but..."

Ayu: "Yeah."

Ohashi: "...but what's the concept of it?"

Ayu: "The concept?"

Ohashi: "Or where did the title 'A' come from? Is it 'A' for 'Ayu'?"

Ayu: "No, it was whatever really. (Ohashi laughs). Well no, I don't mean it was totally random, but... Like, there are four songs on the CD, so all together, their title is 'A', because of course each of the 4 songs has a title of its own, but I didn't need the CD title to be all those titles put together."

Ohashi: "I see, I get you."

Ayu: "Yeah. 'Cuz like usually it's the first song that's the title track of a single, right? But I wanted to make it so any of the four songs could be the most popular, so I said 'I have to get the title from somewhere else then!' So i didn't pick any title at all.

Togashi: "None?"

Ayu: "Yeah. Well it wasn't me who said it, it was my producer, but yeah he said "Welp, no title then!" It made everyone kind of antsy.

Togashi: "I would be too."

Ayu: "Yeah, like, when the rankings happened, how would they refer to the CD? We were antsy about that."

Togashi: "There'd be no title to show, huh?"

Ayu: "Right? Exactly. So... 'A' it is, I guess."

Togashi: "Ah, it's pronounced like 'Eeh?'!" (Ohashi laughs)

Ayu: "Yes!"

Togashi: "I see."
